L&L Concrete, founded in 1995, is currently seeking a Senior Accountant due to our continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and analyzing general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Preparing and adjusting journal entries to ensure the books are up-to-date.
- Analyzing balance sheets to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
- Preparing daily bank reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and receipts as well as serve a back-up in lieu of absence.
- Preparing monthly aging reports analysis to monitor outstanding balances.
- Preparing and maintain capital asset schedule with related accumulated depreciation schedule
Qualifications:
- Preferred Candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field but associate degree in accounting with 5+ years’ experience may be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting with a clean stable record.
- Attention to detail and a system-savvy mindset, with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
- A willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with accounting practices and regulations.
